Part 1 is comprised of a valuable personal collection of long standing. This assemblage of prayer truths has been harvested since 1969, the year I returned home from following a 13 month tour of duty, as a lieutenant of the U.S. Marines in the Republic of South Vietnam. The lingering emotional trauma of a nightlong firefight during Operation Dewey Canyon, in the infamous Ashau Valley, was eventually healed through petition, intercessory, and corporate prayer; leading to renewed personal commitment to Christian values and lifestyle.
Part 2 is the manifestation of a long held desire to provide a public print platform, from which prayer warriors and intercessors share personal means to 'getting quiet before their Lord', when engaged in petition and intercessory praying during their daily quiet time.
